Webster's Weekly
December 19 - 24
This week's edition is
dedicated to the memory of David Della Russo, a
dedicated husband, devoted father, and dependable
friend.
Greetings from behind the mic as
we pause to reflect on what has been a rollercoaster
ride of a year for NWA On Fire. Frankly, we wouldn't
want it any other way! What fun and excitement can be
found in the "same old same old"?
What is up the sleeve of Golden
Boy Bobby Robinson and the Giant Pharaoh as Robinson
prepares to battle Apollo in a Puerto Rican Strap
Match? What did Pharaoh do, who'll be in the corner of
the champion mean by "straps are meant to be cut"? This
brawl is not going to be for the squeamish.
Bobby Ocean has debuted with NWA
On Fire and looks to be a real force to be reckoned
with.
Chico, 1/2 of the NWA On Fire
World Tag Team Champions has been crowing about what he
plans to do to Nunzio when the two lock horns at our
Season's Beatings event in Mexico, Maine. If I were
Nunzio, I'd show up with full guns loaded. At the same
time, I'd like to remind Chico of the old saying, "don't
bite off more than you can chew".
As we get set for the holidays, I
want to take a moment to thank all of the loyal NWA On
Fire fans for their support throughout 2009. More
exciting events and big plans are in the works as we
head into the new year. We appreciate each and every one
of you. Webster's Weekly will be on hiatus for the next
couple of weeks. We'll be back after January 1 with more
thoughts, and some great new features. Merry Christmas
and Happy New Year.
